Do not despise the day of small beginnings?

Small beginnings also known as humble beginnings are there for a reason and serve a purpose. It is during the time of small beginnings that God works on our character which in time will show its strength in purpose. Humble beginnings are just that, Humble.

An angel of the Lord told the prophet, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10, NLT). So whatever your circ*mstances, whatever the kingdom task that looms before you, don't despise today because your initial efforts seem small and insignificant.

Humble new beginnings do exist, but to begin, you must be humble. Nothing ever stays the same. Life begins when you start something, and blooms when you keep doing it. Do not despise little beginnings.
Find magic in the little things, and the big things you always expected will start to show up. We forget the little things, so it's no wonder some of us screw up the big things. True greatness consists in being great in little things. I find myself happy with the little things.
The little energy you obtained from your breakfast can ignite your willingness to kick start. Don't overlook the little energy you have now by fixing eyes on a supposed magical influence farther away! Greatness can come from small beginnings. Never look with contempt on even the smallest beginning.
Scripture reminds us that all living things have a beginning—and that beginnings are important as we consider our place in the world and where we hope to arrive. Beginnings also remind us that growth, maturity and understanding take time. Therefore, patience is required, and growth is a life-long pursuit.
